A short, human process. Visit the school, meet a teacher, bring four documents, and we will take it from there.

How it works

Five steps from first call to first day

    Get in touch

    Call the school or send the enquiry form below. Tell us your child’s age and the level you are looking for, and we will tell you honestly whether we have a place.

  2. 02

    Visit the campus

    Come during a working day so you see the school running rather than empty. Visits take about half an hour and you are welcome to bring your child.

  3. 03

    Meet a teacher

    For playgroup and nursery this is an informal chat and a play session — there is no entrance test for young children. For primary entry the class teacher will do a short, friendly assessment of reading and number work so that we place your child in the right grade.

  4. 04

    Complete the form

    Fill in the admission form at the office and hand over the documents listed opposite. We will confirm the bus route, meal preference and any medical needs at this point.

  5. 05

    Start

    New children usually begin with two or three shorter days so that settling in is gradual. You will be given a class teacher’s contact number on day one.

Session dates: the academic year begins in Baisakh. Admissions for the next session generally open in Chaitra, and mid-session admission is possible when a place is free. Call to check current availability for your child’s level.

What to bring

  • Child’s birth certificate (photocopy)
  • Four passport-size photographs of the child
  • Photocopy of the citizenship certificate of one parent or guardian
  • Transfer certificate and last report card, if the child is coming from another school
  • Immunisation record and details of any allergy, medication or medical condition

Fees

Admission, monthly, transport and meal charges are shared as a printed fee schedule at the school office, because they change from session to session and vary by level and bus route. Please ask for the current schedule when you visit, or request it through the form below.

Questions parents ask

Before you call

How young can my child start?
Playgroup takes children from about two years, provided they can manage a short day away from home. We are flexible about this — some children are ready at two, others at two and a half. Come and talk to us rather than watching the calendar.
Is there an entrance test?
Not for playgroup, nursery, LKG or UKG. For entry into Grade 1 and above, the class teacher does a short assessment of reading, writing and number work. It exists to place your child correctly, not to filter children out.
Do you provide transport to my area?
We run bus routes across Nagarjun and neighbouring wards. Whether we can reach your exact stop depends on the current routes, so please ask when you enquire — routes are reviewed at the start of each session.
What language is used in class?
English is the main medium, with Nepali used alongside it throughout the day. We do not penalise children for speaking Nepali; we give them reasons to use English. Children who arrive with no English settle within a term.
Is lunch provided, and can you handle allergies?
Yes, meals are cooked on site and eaten together. Allergies, dietary restrictions and any medication are recorded on the admission form and kept with the class teacher and the kitchen.
How do you keep parents informed?
A class teacher’s contact number from day one, a parents’ group for daily notices, a written report each term, and a face-to-face meeting to go with it. If something happens at school, you hear it from us the same day.
Can I visit before deciding?
Please do. Visits on a working day between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm show you the school as it actually is. Call ahead so we can keep a teacher free to walk you around.
